Continuing yesterday’s theme, the official trailer for Prometheus was released today. You can view it here. If you viewed the leaked trailer I posted about earlier, you’ll see something familiar. This is being billed as a sort of Aliens prequel, and you’ll notice a lot of thematic and tonal similarity, even if you don’t see any facehuggers. This sort of thing might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I can’t wait.

Regardless, this comes out the day before my birthday, so I consider this a downpayment on a future birthday gift from Mr. Ridley Scott himself. Thank you sir. This movie looks awesome.
